The natural smoked black oak wood color palate ranges from ebonized, black hues to the lighter warm hues of brown tones which cannot be duplicated by a staining process.

We create “blonde” patina effect and brighten dark tones to the smoked oak by handscraping the surface and applying white oils.  The hard-wearing Hardwax Oil protects and enriches this finish over a longer period of time.  This finishing technique works well on both uniform and rustic character Black Oak floors.
