This stunning Lake Michigan frontage residence features a meticulously crafted hardwood floor, composed of 680 individually hand-assembled Manor Rae parquet panels, each measuring 18” x 18”. These panels were expertly hand-scraped, custom hand-stained, oiled, and waxed on-site to achieve a rich, timeless finish.
Adding to the intricate design, 1,194 custom-cut 3” wide chevron planks were installed in the bedroom hallways, ensuring a flawless wall-to-wall fit. Special patterns were incorporated at hallway crossings to create a seamless transition between chevron planks of varying lengths. Each chevron piece was hand-cut, hand-scraped, hand-stained, and finished to maintain the highest level of craftsmanship.
For a striking entrance, the Manor Rae parquet panels in the entryway are elegantly framed with black marble, enhancing the grandeur of this exceptional flooring design.
